Medical Disclaimer
Unblur is not a substitute for an eye exam or medical care.
We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The visual-acuity test on the site is a self-screening tool, not a clinical exam.
What Unblur is
Unblur is a guided vision-training program built around exercises derived from optometric and sports-vision research. Many people find it helps with eye fatigue, focus flexibility, and visual stamina. Results vary, and results are not guaranteed.
What Unblur is not
Unblur is not a replacement for a comprehensive eye exam, a prescription for corrective lenses, vision therapy supervised by a developmental optometrist, or treatment for any medical condition.
Before you start
Please continue your annual eye exams with a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist. Talk to them before starting Unblur if any of the following apply:
- You have a diagnosed medical eye condition (e.g., glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disease, macular degeneration, uveitis, diabetic retinopathy).
- You have strabismus, amblyopia ("lazy eye"), nystagmus, or another condition typically managed by supervised vision therapy.
- You have recently had eye surgery (LASIK, cataract surgery, etc.) or are recovering from an eye injury.
- You are pregnant.
- You have a history of seizures, migraine, or motion-related vertigo, particularly if triggered by visual stimuli.
Stop and seek care
Stop using the program and contact your eye doctor immediately if you experience:
- Sudden vision loss or sudden blurring in one or both eyes.
- New floaters, flashes of light, or "curtain" effect.
- Eye pain, redness, or discharge.
- Severe headache, double vision, or visual disturbances accompanied by neurological symptoms (numbness, weakness, slurred speech).
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) or go to the nearest emergency department.

Children
Unblur is built for adults (18+). Pediatric vision development requires in-person assessment by a developmental optometrist; we do not recommend Unblur for children.
